YouGetIt on the Social Media Radar

Web2Corp’s yougetit.com is targeting Internet users by trying to make an all-ecompassing site that is easy to use and combines search, shopping, news aggregation, and user generated content. In a press-release, Andre Forde, President of Web2Corp summarized the need for the site and compared the companies offering to that of web 1.0’s AOL.

Back in the nineties, a little company that made it easy for people to get on to the web, a little company that made Web 1.0 accessible to the average computer user. It was AOL, and it dominated the early days of the web by addressing a strong need that hadn’t been served. It made Web 1.0 simple.
